The old nursery rhyme about Lucy Locket losing her pocket, is illustrated in this delightful sampler shaped like an antique pocket. From the late 1600s to about 1850, women's pockets were separate articles of clothing, tied with strings around the waist. Lucy Locket Sampler is worked on 28 count Light Mocha Cashel Linen with threads from DMC and The Gentle Art.
Design size: 11 3/4 x 9 inches.
A happy bunny and a delicate butterfly are at home in a basket surrounded by clusters of clovers. Look closely to see a ladybug, a tiny blue butterfly and a bee buzzing from flower to flower. This dimensional design can be displayed as a stand-up or hanging piece. The edges are hand finished with buttonhole stitch.
The design is worked with DMC and The Gentle Art threads on 28 count Natural Cashel Linen from Zweigart. Design size: 9 x 13 inches.
Stitch Count: 119 wide x 169 high for the basket and 96 x 129 for the bunny.

A green haired witch, her scary black cat and a smiley pumpkin are heading out for a midnight adventure. All stitching and finishing instructions to create this hanging design, complete with cross stitched stars on streaming ribbons, are included with the chart.
The design is worked on 28 count Blue Spruce Cashel Linen from Zweigart using DMC and The Gentle Art threads. Additional craft supplies needed to finish the witch design are listed on the chart. The finished size is 11 1/2 x 16 1/2 inches.
Stitch count is 136 wide x 198 high.
